New banner for our blog

When you read this blog, and you read this blog more often
you see a different header from today on.

Why a different banner?
Our Reborn Hope was founded in 2005 and started as a shelter for pregnant girls. Many teenage girls had the opportunity to receive care and support form our Reborn Hope staff in their pregnancy, and during the baby's first years of life.

Nowadays the Reborn Hope House is no longer a shelter as our ministry has changed a bit. We still work with girls, but our main focus is now in prevention.

Old banner

Prevention through fellowship, and building relationships with girls from the street when we visit them on the street and during our open house.  We support and challenge them to make real transformations in their lives. We talk with them about the values of  live. And try to create awareness of what influences choices they make now, can have in the future.

In the community centre  in Vila Dias, we work with boys and girls, we work with different activities to teach values through arts, learning skills in arts, and work on multiplication of knowledge through education. We visit their families in the slum. And invite the teenage girls for a fun-night at our house.

New banner

The colorful tree in the banner above stands for growth, it's planted in the ground of hope and transformation. The colors stands for happiness and joy that we wants to bring with the fellowship, education and with arts.

We pray that all our work will have an impact in the lives of the children! That they will grow in what they learn, that they will grow in self-esteem, that they will grow in relationship with God. That they will find hope and will be transformed in a way that they could never imagine. To start dreaming again, to start dreaming again with he dreams God have for their lives!
