Street work in co-operation with Rescue House

Two weeks ago we started going to the streets with Rescue House, that works with street children. One of us from the team will join them every friday night, when they go to a place close by the slum we work with. A lot of streeet children hang out there, and we are going to focus on talking to the street girls about preventing pregnancy, and follow up on pregnant street girls.

Marie met a 17 year old girl on the street that is four months pregnant. The week after she met her in the twin tower in the slum, where she had moved in with her boyfriend. Marie went to do an interview with her, to get her information. After that we haven't been able to meet up with her, and her boyfriend says she goes to the street in the morning and comes back in the evening. We will try to visit her in the evening. She is using crack, and needs medical follow up concerning her pregnancy. Pray that we will meet her and that she will be motivated to work with us.
